I’m from Germany and history teachers make sure that we get our history in our heads. We had ww2 hundreds of times from all perspectives, every character like Albert Speer, every fucking Leutnant. The consequences, the aftermath, the generation after the war, the economic factors. I bet German kids know more or at least more perspectives of the war than e.g American kids.
