(You should pray that there is also a healthy mind in a healthy body. ) That was around the height of the athletic craze. Lots of mighty men with empty heads. The name Asics comes from the quote, but they changed it a bit: "anima sana in corpore sano" A healthy soul in a healthy body.

Reason I hate the quote: It's dishonest. Rather than to admit reality, it's denying oneself lying to oneself. I believe that if oneself firstly can admit anything unpleasant then proceed to make better change to it, oneself will feel better and will be better.
